New Course: Getting Started with WooCommerce

Today, we’re excited to announce the launch of our long-awaited course for WooCommerce!

We’ve partnered with WooCommerce expert, Daniel Espinoza, to create Getting Started with WooCommerce — a 22-part tutorial series for beginners, designed to help you start selling products or services on your own WordPress website.

WooCommerce - a free eCommerce toolkit for WordPress.WooCommerce is by far the most popular e-commerce platform on the web, and powers over 37% of all online stores. WooCommerce provides everything you need to sell products or services on your WordPress website. Best of all, it’s completely free!

Without a doubt, WooCommerce is powerful and robust. But it can also be a bit overwhelming at first glance. So it’s no wonder this has been the most widely requested tutorial topic from our members.

And that’s why we created this 22-part introduction to WooCommerce for beginners. This course will teach you how to install and configure WooCommerce to start selling on your website. By the end of the course, you’ll have a solid understanding of all the WooCommerce basics.

But we didn’t stop there.

More than just videos. Real-world help and advice.

When we set out to create this course, we knew that the video tutorials would only provide the foundation — a basic overview of the settings and features in WooCommerce.

But that’s just the beginning, because in reality, every online store is unique. Your needs will likely differ from those of other store owners, if only slightly. That’s why there are nearly 400 extensions available for WooCommerce to add specific features to your site!

So, when you sign up for this course, you’ll also be able to ask questions and get answers directly from the author, Daniel Espinoza.

Daniel Espinoza, WooCommerce ExpertDaniel is an expert WooCommerce developer and consultant who has been working with WooCommerce since it was created in 2011. In fact, he built the very first commercial plugin for WooCommerce, and has created dozens of extensions and plugins since then. Daniel runs Grow Development, a WooCommerce consultancy where he helps companies build profitable e-commerce sites. He also hosts the San Antonio WooCommerce meetup and builds plugins at Shop Plugins. In short, Daniel loves helping people learn how to use WooCommerce!

We’re thrilled to have partnered with Daniel to create this course, but even more excited that he’s offered to help answer our students’ WooCommerce questions in our Q&A forum. We know you’ll benefit from his advice and expertise.

More advanced videos on the way!

Getting Started with WooCommerce will provide a solid understanding of the basics. But that’s just the beginning. Daniel has already begun work on a much more in-depth course for WooCommerce — a whopping 80 videos in total!

The advanced course will provide much more in-depth training for WooCommerce, including strategies for planning your store, detailed instructions for the various payment gateways, choosing and customizing an e-commerce theme, plus even more tips, tricks, and best practices.
